How to kill a mockingbird.  1960
"This Hollywood masterpiece offers crucial lessons about prejudice and the fears that motivate it."

This movie was a clear example of racial injustice and the destruction of innocence in the south of America. A lawyer named Atticus who is seen as racial heroism is defending a black man who is accused of raping a white woman. Atticus is looked down upon white people because he is defending a black man which clearly shows that there was no respect for black people even if they were innocent. However, the fact that a white man is willing to defend this man shows there is hope for society.

Time to kill 1996
"This film candidly depicts the residual effect of racism on the next generation."

This movie is a good example of hate crime towards African Americans back in the 90s, a young black was raped by two racist white men. It leads to her father killing those two men however causes more of destruction occurs as the terrorist group “kkk” has an uprising. In this film, you see that non black people are frequently using the n-word explicitly showing us that there was no respect for black people. Time to kill society showed the unfair treatment black people were receiving, however the ending shows society that even if the treatment is unfair, black people will come bigger and stronger, and that's what happened at the end, Carl lee won his case.

12 years of slave  2013
"Inspired by real-life events, "12 Years a Slave" is punishing and demoralizing to watch, so committed is director Steve McQueen to tell this story unwavering."

This movie is about the suffering the slaves used to face when slavery existed, it focuses on one man who gets captured by white people and gets puts into slavery. This movie is a great way to educate people about slavery and African American history. This particular man gets ripped away from his family and has to suffer in slavery for 12 years, it is a very emotional story because this happened to many people during that time. From the movie you can see how badly they got tormented and abused, this is a great way to prevent people from being racist in particular racist to black people. This mirrors the racial injustice that was going in America and how the white race believe they were the superior one. This is a good film to teach many people of what many black people went through.

Black Panther 2018
"The latest big-screen superhero story is a subversive and uproarious action-adventure, in which African stereotypes are upended and history is rewritten"

This movie was a huge success for black people as they haven’t been a black superhero before. I've decided to show this movie to show the change towards black people, they are more accepted in society, of course there is still racism
until today but they have also been a change. It is the highest-grossing solo superhero film, which is amazing as there are many solo films.  This is movie is a prime example of society accepting black people
and not leaving them out in worldwide movies like this.  The racial injustice
is somewhat decreasing and black people are finally having the shine they deserve.
