Wildlife Documentary

Advantages of SCP wildlife documentary An advantage of using SCP for wildlife documentary is that it allows fewer movements, therefore, the animal won't get frustrated. SCP allows the audience to get a good view of the wildlife, they learn more about the habitats of the wildlife. For multiple cameras to present it would be dangerous for both the cameraman and the wildlife, as the camerama.n could be attacked or the animal could be very distressed. It cost was less than having more cameras, therefore the director wouldn't want to spend too much as they are going to completely different locations. The cameraman also has to get animals who run fast, therefore, having more than one could be difficult and could ruin the realistic image. Furthermore scp will have the audience engaged more as they are seeing these animals from one age at a distance therefore they can see more. Unlike mcp, scp makes things faster as scp will have way too many transition which will distract the audie

Camera Movement Tracking-  Kidnap Tracking shots is the smooth movement in any direction that allows the camera to follow the action, they are usually used for when there is a build up of tension or suspense, for example a car chase or any sort of horror film. The example I'm using is kidnap, in this film, there is a massive car chase where a mother is chasing a kidnappers' car, there is a lot of movement and the tracking shot allows the audience to see what is going on clearly. This shot is a great way to build up suspense for the audience as it makes it's realistic, making them draw in their focus even more. Tracking also allows the director to easily get the action in any angle, the movement is so smooth it makes the audience to feel so involved in the film that they are almost running with her.  https://youtu.be/txnL-FyGzd4 Panning- Panning is a type of camera movement that creates a sense of speed around a moving object, a   way to keep your subject focu

Opening And Closing

OPEN ENDING An open ending is when the audience is left confused and is also known as a cliffhanger, there are also loads of prons and cons on open endings. For example, the audience can have a sense of security of a film, many people get attached to the film therefore if a cliffhanger is left they can have hope for a sequel. It also increases relevance, as films are usually forgotten after people have watched them, for example, fast and furious have had so many new films and have stayed relevant till this day. However a con is many people can get angry as they have been watched a film for an hour or so and for it to not end with no confusion is quite frustrating. Usually, when films end with an open ending a continuous film comes out however people may not like it as much as the first one as they see it as something that has run out of ideas. An example of an open ending would be American pyscho the audience don’t know if Bateman will continue his violence and drug abuse, his e

Rule of thirds is when the subject isn't centered in the image, instead the main focus is put onto one side so the audience can see what is going on in the background.Using this rule it allows the audience to not only focus on the main centre and perhaps focus whats going on in the space given. This rule allows the audience to know exactly where everyone is in relation to each other. For example in this image from Harry potter Hermione is on the right but is seen as the main focus however Harry is at the back left so the audience can still see him. This helps the director as they can put the most important things in the frame, it also captivates the audience and brings their focus in. Rule of thirds has many pros as it improves the shots aesthetic, this attracts the audiences attention, the grid also allows the shot to be correctly lined up so it can create a pleasing view for the audience. From the beginning, the audience can see the couple aren't alike, as Gil loves Paris and pursuing his love for writing, however, Inez(wife to be) is more modern and would rather be in Bali.
